Creative decision-making, helping people clarify and achieve their dreams are the foundations of Where to from here? CAREERS. Individual work, small group and larger presentations are all part of Michelle's skill base. Sharing knowledge and empowering others to use personal strength and wisdom in their decision-making. Although originally trained as an Art Educator, she has also been involved in small business development and innovation, farming, viticulture, and succession planning, as well as many volunteer and not for profit groups. She returned to study and retraining during breaks from full-time teaching, while raising a family. She has raised 3 children and has experienced the joy, and frustration, of juggling family, work (paid and unpaid) when resources were not always at hand. Learning to embrace creative solutions in balancing often being the key. Michelle has been a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia since 2011 and has a Masters of Career Development and a Graduate Certificate in Career Education from Edith Cowan University. She currently serves on the National Executive Committee for the CDAA. Michelle was a member of the Business and Professional Women of Australia since 1992 and has taken on leadership roles at state level as President, Secretary and Treasurer. Always passionate about community and encouraging quality leadership. She was the Young Career Woman for BPW in 1997 and Business Woman of the Year for the Belmont BEC in 2005. Michelle has also been a committed advocate of the creative arts, having her own small business, and an active member of the Margaret River Artisans. She continues to exhibit and produce work for commercial distribution. Creativity, innovation and a passionate approach to both construct and create your own destiny are the drivers that lead Michelle to support and serve others.
